Greg,

I wiring my 750 to vt100/pc serial I have found that you need
to use pin 1 (shield ground) on the VAX to pin 7 (signal ground)
on the terminal equipment .... strange - but it works.

Just a thought:-)

Subject: uVax II & serial console

Greetings,

I have a VaxStation II/RC. No, I did not find it in a dumpster. I'm
interested in running NetBSD on it if I'm not totally wasting my time.
I've been trying to wire up the serial port so I can get a console on
it.
I see some output from (I think) VMS. It's asking me for the date. It
doesn't seem to receive my keystrokes though.

Anybody know how to wire this thing?

Regards,

- Greg Ingram
