Hi all,

Using always a Decstation running NetBSD as a NFS server for my diskless
vaxen, tried today my linux box as a NFS server.

No succes.

any idea, what flags to put in the /etc/exports file besides of the
"no_root_squash" ?

my exports looks like:

# This file contains a list of all directories exported to other computers.
# It is used by rpc.nfsd and rpc.mountd.

/ASTERIX-HDC3 *.ecubuero(rw,no_root_squash)


any ideas, help ?

P.S. the problem is:
unpacking the binary/sets with tar xzvpf ... to this directory via nfs,
leads to errors like "can't change mode, no such file"....
