It was said (in current-users?) that NetBSD 2.0 will support SMP on all
applicable architectures.  Other than that, i386 and Alpha 4100 systems can
at least boot non-primary processors [1][2].

I'd love to run NetBSD/vax on a 8370 (a 8350 with third KA825 board
installed):


DUALVX, a VAX 8370
Multiprocessing is ENABLED. Streamlined synchronization image loaded.
Minimum multiprocessing revision levels: CPU = 2 uCODE = 20 PATCH = 21.

PRIMARY CPU = 02
Active CPUs:      01 02 09
Configured CPUs:  01 02 09
