SCSI is totally broken on some 3100s.  My 3100/M38 is broken for sure.
Someone posted a patch a while back to disable disconnection, that 
allowed my internal RZ23s to work, but I've since misplaced the patch.
With just a 1.4_ALPHA kernel, accessing an external IBM 1GB on the
second NCR controller gives me this:

 85 RESTART SYS
 84 FAIL

 83 BOOT SYS

I wonder if anyone out there is succesfully using a 3100 with SCSI?
