Subject: More on the kernel panic

As a followon to the previous message indicating that I had a reproducible
kernel panic on my uVax II. If I fsck the /usr file system, then reboot, I
can get it to come up. If it FSCK's /dev/ra0g (which is fairly large as you
can see) it panics when it trys to bring things up. Also there is the
interesting message about the kernel having an invalid symbol table. As far
as I know this is the generic kernel from the distribution so I can't
understand why that would be the case...
