I have seen a number of people reporting problems with the latest version
of NetBSD/vax on the KA650.  I'm still lagging a bit behind the curve and
don't have anything newer than 1.3.2 running on my systems.  You might try
falling back onto 1.3.2 until the current versions get fixed up a bit.
