I'm trying to build a new kernel, and pmap.c fail to compile.

cc -O2 -Werror -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes -Wstrict-prototypes -Wpointer-arith

pmap.c

Stop.

There is also another error about DEFS.h not found, but I lost the
error message. It will take the vax a bit to get to that point again.
