Hi all, just joined mailing list... trying to get NetBSD 1.3.2 release going
on my VS3100 system and am having a problem...

I created the boot tape with the two 512-byte-block files on it (file1/file2)
on a
DecStation 3100 we have at work, following the instructions. Worked fine, I
even copied the files back off the tape and compared to the originals...
perfect.

My external SCSI TK50 tape drive is set to ID#4. I do a SHOW DEV on the
VS3100 console and it shows me:
     DKA300 - RZ23 (56Mb or something - machine is other room right
now...)...
     DKB100 - 1.05Gb (I think this is a non-DEC drive, haven't looked yet),
     MKB400 - TZ12 (this is the TK50 tape drive...)

I boot the system w/ "B/3 MKB400" and it boots up with:

    >> NetBSD/Vax boot [980530 13:32] <<
    :

type "edlabel" at the prompt and get:

    sdopen: ctlr=1 unit=9 part=0
    bad adaptor number

what is wrong? Does the TK50 tape have to be at a particular SCSI ID? have to
be on the first (A) controller? any suggestions?
