I've got a 3600 running the 1.3.2 binaries and some recent kernel, with a
DHV11. I'm running pppd over ttyS7 - no problems. When I had my QDSS in that
machine, it would give silo errors all the time, but without it, it's fine. The
scripts do look (mostly) like the man pages, modified only for my ISP. I do
not have that device listed in /etc/ttys, because it's attached to the modem. I
did (at one point) have ttyS0 (the first port) attached to a VT240, in
/etc/ttys, and it worked fine.
