Thats what I thought too. The problem is when the kernel tries to find
its root using RARP/bootparam. If I have 20 or 24MB RAM in the 3100,
it fails and complains about;

boot device: le0
nfs_boot: trying RARP (and RPC/bootparam)
le0: device timed out
revarp failed, error = 51

If I remove one memoryboard and run with 8MB RAM, it works perfectly
fine.
