Hi All:

My problem was a corrupt miniroot on the tape. A newer tape and I get
further in the process.

Question:

Docs say that after booting the miniroot (: ra(0,1)netbsd) and answering
"ra0*" to the "root device" prompt as detailed in the latest "INSTALL" doc,
that I should get the single user shell prompt.

However I get two more prompts, for swap device, and filesystem type. I
took the default at first, and then tried other obvious responses.

Seems however I answer these I get a "cannot mount root partition" error
and am returned to the "root device" prompt. Error code is 79.

The docs are obviously behind the current generic kernel. I recall that
ra0* worked fine in earlier versions.

Any input??

Thanks,

Kevin
