Regge,
I found that bootparamd has a problem on my Alpha and I get the same
results. The fix was to change the whay bootparmd allocates the var in
bootparmd. I think is was a long and I changed it to be a char[4], It's been
a while so I am not really sure.
I only found this to be a problem on my Redhat 5.0 for alpha. It works fine
when I run it on my 486 running Redhat 4.1 with a NE2000.
If people what to change the code. It is the var that whomai() returns to in
bootparamd.c.
Have fun, you can't break it because it's allready broke ;-)
