Hi,

I'm having some trouble getting a uVAX 3100-M40 (KA45-A) booted via MOP.

After booting with 'B ESA0' and getting the '-ESA0' message,
the console spits out screenfuls of messages in the form of

?01 NO MSG

with an occasional

?73 NO MSG

in between.

I've tried using both NetBSD/pmax and FreeBSD/i386 systems as hosts,
with the same result.

Basically, I've got a /tftpboot/mop/08002b31bdc9.SYS file, which is
a copy of multivac.ludd.luth.se:/boot.mop, having also tried out the
file

ftp.netbsd.org:/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.3.2/vax/installation/netboot/boot.mopformat

and various bootloaders from

http://world.std.com/~bdc/projects/vaxen/netboot/bootloaders.tar.gz

In syslog,

Aug 16 01:40:29 crimson mopd[1294]: 8:0:2b:31:bd:c9 (1) Do you have\
08002b31bdc9? (Yes)

Aug 16 01:40:29 crimson mopd[1294]: 8:0:2b:31:bd:c9 Load completed

appears. The MAC address checks out.

With moptrace, I get;

Dst : 0:0:b4:5c:84:d1

.. plus numerous other info, nothing of which seems to indicate errors.

(0:0:b4:5c:84:d1 is the FreeBSD host)

Is this simply a case of not-yet supported hardware?
