may anyone can give me some hint.
i tried to create tk50 boottapes on my uVAX II running VMS 4.3.
i downloaded the binaries to the uVAX with the reflection WRQ-proto with
the lenght
of 512. then i created a boottape described as follow.
$SET PROCESS /PRIVILEGE=(VOLPRO,SYNAM)
$ALLOC MUA0:
$INIT MUA0: ""
$MOUNT/FOREIGN/BLOCK=512 MUA0:
$COPY TK50BOOT.; MUA0:
$DISMOUNT MUA0:
$DEALLOC MUA0:
so far so good. for the boottape this will work (i can boot the vax from
the tape and so on,..)
but if i try the same on the tape with for the miniroot image the uVAX
hangs on the INIT
commando, and after a long, long time :( a error-message occure, says
-the volume is not software enabled- .

tnx for help, erich schymonski
