The standalone SCSI driver in the bootblocks never worked and
never was really integrated into the bootloader. I think it was
my fault that it looked like being integrated. Sorry.
For the floppy boot and SCSI-disk problem: IMHO the only (at least
for now) possible solution is to have /boot AND kernel on the floppy,
boot from floppy, and then give the SCSI-disk as root-device. I've
never tried if this works...
