but IMHO this was my best bet.

I'm trying to find out on what hardware 4.4BSD can be used, and
searching the net by e-mail is somewhat hard.
>From the docs in the 4.4BSD-Lite tree at ftp.luth.se I learned 
that support for the VAX8000 series and MicroVAX II and III has
been added, but couldn't find a complete list of supported platforms.

Also if you have good resources (FAQ...) on 4.4BSD (no I don't have a
newsfeed) handy please let me know.
