Well, yeah, though the size limitation is pretty crippling.  (Not
protocol-violating, at least not last time I looked (which was
admittedly a while ago); the server is allowed to do anything it
pleases with a bitmap cursor.  But technically legal or not, I still
call an implementation that breaks on large cursor bitmaps broken.)

But yes, that level of doc is the sort of thing I wish I had more of!
