First of all you have to download NetBSD-current and compile that with
QDSS support.

As for the X server, the easiest thing to do (for now) would be to find
a precompiled 4.3BSD (or maybe Ultrix, but I'm not sure about that)
server.  For example, you can find a precompiled 4.3BSD server at these
URL's or the obvious equivalent AFS locations:
http://www.mit.edu/afs/athena/system/vax_bsd43/srvd/usr/athena/Xqdss
You can find the necessary support files (fonts, etc) at:
http://www.mit.edu/afs/athena/system/vax_bsd43/srvd/usr/athena/lib/X11/
(I don't know about licensing for that stuff, but at least I expect X to
be free.)
