OOOooohh, THAT board.  (Opens VS3100/M38 case).  That my fellows is an
adapter board which translates MFM to SCSI at least for the floppy drives 
they used in the dual SCSI VAXstation 3100's.  There was some discussion
about this recently on the list already.

This is not one of the two types of controller boards you can use.  The
controller boards are connected to the mainboard via special short ribbon
cable.  If you do find a controller to use, make sure you get this ribbon
cable as well.  I can send you the part numbers off what I have here if
you like.
