<no, the QDSS (VCB02) was used in the VAXstation-II-GPX.  the monochrome
<QVSS (VCB01) was used in the VAXstation-II.  the QDSS was power hungry
<(somebody told me it had some ECL on it) and getting it to work in a BA2
<was iffy -- DEC only sold it in the BA123.

It will work in a ba23 IF... you dont plan using the slots for much of 
anything else as a full load of memory and a full VCB02 (3 boards for 
8planes) will use 6 of the available 8 quad slots and ~60-70% of the 
available power. The remaining two quad slots will have to be DELQA,
RQDX3 and maybe a DZV11, tk50 is out as the board and the drive eat 
power.  The result would be near the 100% power point for the box.
