In a fit of sheer 'why not' I've compiled up some NetBSD/vax binary
	packages (Using the NetBSD packages system), and uploaded them to:

	    ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/1.3/vax

		archivers:	unzip-5.32	zip-2.2
		devel:		gmake-3.76.1    gtexinfo-3.11
		graphics:	png-0.96
		mail:		pine-3.96
		net:		samba-1.9.18p1	tcptrace-4.1.3	ttcp

		sysutils:	top-3.5beta6

	You should be able to just download them and run

	    'pkg_add <package.tgz>'

	They were compiled under 1.3 but should work fine on later systems.
	Are there any particular other packages people would like?
	I'm currently toying with compiling up X11, which would enable me
	to produce a full ssh distribution (one optional program uses X11).
	I also _have_ to get perl compiled up... on principle :)
