There is no such thing as an internal TK50Z. Maybe it's a TZ30?

Make sure you tell it explicitly to boot from the tape drive, i.e., type
"B MKxyyy" (substituting in the correct controller letter and SCSI ID of
course) rather than just "B". There are also some bootflags needed, but I don't
remember them.
