Well the graphics engines DEC built were bigger than current PCI but not
that much slower.  In most cases they are high resolution and plenty 
enough colors.  It's that complexity that has apparently limited attempts
to get X going or even a simple console.

<Hey, maybe even multiple graphics/keyboard/mouse consoles on faster
<machines....  With today's microelectronics the sky is the limit.

Who ever said one was the limit on the dec hardware!

At this point I say desolder the vax chip and the FPU if seperate and make 
a vax to 486 adaptor socket.  ;-)
