<"2080"? I have never heard of VAX 2080.

LCG was large computer group and was the Engineering/marketing/support for
36bit systems (PDP-1/system20s).

The 2080 aka Jupiter was the last project before it was killed. At
the time engineering was able to conceive something that was 2x faster
than previous and the engineering plan called for at least 4x. At the
same time the 86xx project was running and the two were competing for
resources. Jupiter was killed as too costly for lower returns.
Customers however would have been very happy for a 2x faster "20".
It was avery dark day inside DEC when the Jupiter project was killed.
