I just picked up a VAXserver 3400 yesterday (biggest VAX I have now).
It's got DSSI drives. Now, I'll admit, while I ahve quite a few NetBSD
machines, I haven't installed NetBSD/vax yet. I am zilcho familiar
with the 3400 (I have a 3100/76, and a 3100/30 or 40, dunno, it has no Mxx
next to the 3100 like the M76 does). Would it be better to keep the
VS3400 a VMS machine, or should NetBSD be "stable" / fast enough for it to
be good? I know all the SCSI stuff and normal things (like the 3100's and
2000's) are all good, but the 3400 is Qbus and DSSI, so I don't know how
well they are supported and would care for feedback and any commentary.

Thanks!
Dan Kosack.
