All the VT420s I've ever seen just have two MMJ ports on them. There is a
rectangular plastic panel on the back which looks to be about DB25 sized.
Almost like DEC had though about allowing a DB25 connected to be
incorporated into the terminal. Maybe some exist with it? Or I guess I
should say apparently some do if you've seen them with DB25s.
The VS3100 only has MMJ serial ports as well. I recommend finding one for
yourself as they are an exceptionally cute model of VAX. Their sleek
profile adds a pleasing contrast to the bigger VAX systems you might own.
Afterall, as the saying goes, variety is the spice of life.
