It seems to be a problem...  A friend says there is a jumper to cut that
will crank the g2 (at least on vt320 monitors - what I have)...  I've
also found leaving them on straight usually brightens them up.  When
they cool off, they get dark again... Not good for power outages (common
here), but hell I hate power cycling my vaxes too..
