Can you provide the text you receive up to the point where the boot
process hangs?  (Not the easiest thing to do when you're using an actual
terminal I know, but it would help to see exactly where the system hangs
in the boot process). From what I can tell it sounds like you're getting
further now with the serial console than you were originally?
