	This is what just happened to me before modifying
	mopd sources (I guess that is what you mean
	by the patches). We seem to be using different
	ethernet cards, but that shouldn't be the problem.

	Maybe I have changed something else also - if you
	want I could make the modified mopd available
	via ftp.
