<I would suggest mounting a filesystem from another machine that
<contains these files.  This is what I did and it worked out really
<well.  There really isn't enough room on a rd54 for these file and the
<OS.  If you have more than one rd54 you might be able to put these
<files on a separate local disk.

I don't have another rd54. do have a RD53. don't have another system.

In reality if I had another system I could detar these on (other than vms)
I wouldn't bother with netbsd.
