Finally, all the proper hardware and software pieces have aligned
themselves with my MicroVAX II, but woe of woes it still does not boot.

Upon uttering

My TK-50 whirrs zips over the contents of the NetBSD 1.1A boot tape, doing
its very best to boot, but after about a minute it just gives me:

    PC = A0050419

This is not promising.  Can anyone offer me advice as to what might be the
problem?
