Nope, still broken... :-(  Perhaps something bad in the 1.2C libraries.  I
was actually trying to compile the 1.2G libraries when I first ran into
the problem.  Sort of catch-22 situation.  At least if getting the 1.2G
libraries compiled actually will fix the *roff commands. When I
subsequently recompile them.

That is unless you break the rules and turn your `nroff' wrapper for groff
into:

--
   #!/bin/sh
   echo ""
--

Okay, so that's terrible, but it does allow for the important parts of the
compile to continue :-)  And maybe there is a better way to do it if I'd
been reading current-users for the past couple of months, but I haven't so
neener neener neener.
