OK, I have done everything in Brian's FAQ

o both machines are on the same IP segment

o ifconfig eth0 gives UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST ALLMULTI

o ethers, hosts, bootparams, rarp table etc. all have correct info

o /tftpboot/mop has both 08002b0c9af6.SYS and MOPBOOT.SYS

o mopd -a -d shows this repeatedly, then stops:
MOP DL 8:0:2b:c:9a:f6   > ab:0:0:1:0:0      len   18 code 08 RPR
MOP DL 0:0:c0:b2:72:64   > 8:0:2b:c:9a:f6   len    1 code 03 ASV

o moptrace -a show this repeatedly, then stops:
Dst          : ab:0:0:1:0:0      MOP Dump/Load Multicast
Src          : 8:0:2b:c:9a:f6
Proto        : 6001 MOP Dump/Load
Length       : 0012 (18)
Code         :   08 Request program
Device Type : 05 QNA 'DEQNA'
Format       :   01
Program Type : 02 Operating System
Software     :   07 'MOPBOOT'
Processor    :   00 System Processor
DL Buff Size : 0406 (1030)

o /var/log/messages says that the "Do you have MOPBOOT (Yes)" is
repeated 47 times

However, when I power up the VS2000, I see the following:

KA410-B V2.2

F...E...D...C...B...A...9...8...7...6...5...4_..3_..2_..1...

?  6  00A0  0000.4001
>>>

And when I try to boot it, I get:

?06 HLT INST
    PC = 00000E64
>>>

after the %VMB- stuff in my previous mail.

Any ideas? Are there any TEST commands I need to set? (T51=ESA0,
T52=100, T53=3)

Regards,
