Subject: More VS2000 booting problems

OK, I have got down all the stuff needed to boot my VS2000, built a
linux box with mopd etc.

Now when I try to boot the VS2000 off esa0, I get the Bootfile: prompt
and on the linux box (from an strace'd mopd and a moptrace) I can see
the VS2000 sending loads of requests for a mop package, but nothing ever
gets back to the Vax. On the Vax, I get:

Bootfile: mopboot

-ESA0

%VMB-F-ERR, PC = 00000765
%VMB-I-STS, R0 = 00000056

This appears every time, it doesn't matter if the Vax is connected to
the network or if the mopd daemon is running.

I have the output from the strace'd mopd and the moptrace available if
anyone wants to take a look. The Vax is definitely talking to the linux
box because I can see the file requests made by mopd changing as I
change the bootfile.

The next question is going to be getting hold of a VS2000 kernel to
boot, but I think that may be some way off.

Please help - I am losing faith in ever getting it running.

TIA,
