Hello Group,

I used the latest miniroot to get started again. I have a Microvax 3500
with a QBUS DSSI controller. The miniroot V1.1 boots without issue except
for some messages about a hung controller. Miniroot V1.2 does not even
get that far. The messages are more clearer in general, but it also goes
out looking for UDA1, which does not exist, then the kernel panic's after
a failure in init step 3. I would attach a console log to this email,
however that machine that I used to have as a terminal emulator is dead.

So there still seems to be a problem with the autoconfigure of this type
of controller. Is there some way we can make the discovery of devices
on this more graceful?

Regards

Andy
