I installed NetBSD 1.2C with little pain thanks to gunnar's FAQ.html on
a uvax II.  
The system has 1 rd54 and 3 rd53's.   I ran edlabel on the rd54 and the
install went fine.  (I didn't want to partition the rd53's until I
had the system up).

I have used edlabel to partition and show the partitions on the rd53
drives.  Everything looks like the disktab entry for an rd53.
NetBSD shows the ra0(rd54) and ra1,ra2,ra3 (rd53) devices when booting up.
Newfs reports device not configured for each of these devices.
Disklabel returns the same message.

What step have I left out?
