I've been using linux for a long time and I can say with certainty that
the BPF is not supported, nor AFIK will it ever be supported. In most
cases an alternative method has been turned up to deal with individual
programs.

I have no concious knowledge of it, but something tells me that sombody on
this list mentioned that mopd had been made to work under linux, back
2-5 months ago. If your interested I'd recomend searching the list's
archives about that time.
