AFAIK, there has been large obstacles concerning a NetBSD port for the 
VS3100. The disk controller has been the problem. No one seems to want to 
spill their guts concerning the binding logic and registers for the disk I/o.
I have a VS3100-M76-SPX gathering dust on the shelves in my home. I had 
tested a boot-block program and the graphic console (big 1280x1024 8 bit 
color screen) seems to work. I see these all the time in computer shows. 
No one wants them. If we had someone who got dumped by DEC who has info 
to get this port completed...
