HELP!!
I have a MicroVAX-II with 12 MEG RAM, two RD53 disks, TK50 and ethernet.
I had one of our guys here (byer@mail.all-net.net) generate a set of tapes
for me from our VAX/VMS cluster (since he wrote the instructions for doing
this) and he tested them out and they are just fine.
Now, I use edlabel to label the hard disk and that goes just fine, I can
go back and read the label just fine. I copy the "mini-root" over and it
appears to copy just fine, no error messages and the hard disk actually
does something.
Now, when I go to boot up the "mini-root" I use "ra(0,1)gennetbsd" and
the disk accesses and I get "unknown error: code 22". No matter what I
do, I get this error, no matter what partition (just to be safe) I tell
it to boot from, I get the same error.
It's like the copy program didn't do it's job because if I tell it any
of the following:
ra(0,0,0,0)
ra(0,0,0,1)
I get the same error. Here's my partition table for my hard disk.
partition: offset: size:
a 0 15884
b 15884 33440
d 49324 89348
I'm really stumped at this and knowing me, it is something stupid that I'm
overlooking or doing wrong.
I would appreciate any and all help with this problem as it is driving me
crazy.
