Well if you are counting from right to left this would indicate that the 
system failed the test of the NI (ethernet).  If the system is not 
connected to a network, try placing a terminator on whichever ethernet 
interface you've selected.  (ie. Thin or Thick)  Once this is done try 
powering it up again. If you get the same light indications, you most 
likely have a bad NI.

The hard drive will not spin up until it is accessed.
