When looking for the problems with my VS2000's BNC connector I discovered
that there's also an AUI connector (at least it looks like that).

Thus I took the (known-to-work) MiniTransceiver from a uVAX and connected 
the VS2000 to the net via the MiniTransceiver at the AUI port.
The power-indicator LED on the MiniTransceiver doesn't glow, the
selftest fails with "??  1  00C0  0011.700E".

Do I need more magic to enable the AUI port than just switching the
A/B button on the back of the machine?
