I'm sorry for the late answer - the problem is already solved.
My terminal was configured with XONXOFF-flowcontrol - racopy didn't 
filter CTRL-{SQ} so every typed line contained CTRL-{SQ} which confused 
racopy a bit :-). I just switched off XONXOFF and everything went fine....
