More information on that one,
If i remove the xyc board, the machine boots. So if there is only the CPU
card in the cardcage, the machine boots fine. As soon as i place a card,
be it a memory or the xyc card, then the machine fails to boot. This means
that i have the cardcage misconfigured, right?

I have read the sun hardware FAQ, and have the following
jumpered and not jumpered on the back of the backplane

 slot 1 cpu 3&4 unjumpered
 slot 2 mem 3&4 jumpered
 slot 3 mem 3&4 jumpered
 slot 4 mem 3&4 jumpered
 slot 5 empty 3&4 jumpered
 slot 6 empty 3&4 jumpered
 slot 7 xyc 3&4 unjumpered
 slot 8-11 empty 3&4 jumpered
 slot 11 empty 4 unjumpered

Note, that the slot 11 has been tried with jumpered and unjumpered.
I must be doing something wrong.
