The dd was successful from what I can tell, but I just cannot boot. My partition
table looks like this: (1.2GB drive)
partition start (c/t/s) nblks (c/t/s) type
a (root) 0 (0/0/0) 42000 (40/0/0) 4.2BSD
b (swap) 43050 (41/0/0) 152250 (145/0/0) swap
c (disk) 0 (0/0/0) 2025450 (1929/0/0) unknown
Here's what comes out of dd when I put the miniroot into the swap:
ssh: dd if=/mnt/miniroot of=/dev/rsd2b bs=8k
1024+0 records in
1024+0 records out
8388608 bytes transferred in 56 seconds (149796 bytes/sec)
ssh:
Here's what happens when I boot from rsd2b
>b sd(0,10,1) -s
sd: error 70 0 6 0 0 0 0 1 30 0 FFFFFFFF
sd: error 70 0 2 0 0 0 0 1 9 0 FFFFFFFF
sd: error 70 0 2 0 0 0 0 1 9 0 FFFFFFFF
sd: error 70 0 2 0 0 0 0 1 9 0 FFFFFFFF
sd: error 70 0 2 0 0 0 0 1 9 0 FFFFFFFF
sd: 5 retries
This just continues.
I'm just about fed up with this. Does anyone know what the problem is?
