Someone suggested resetting something like ttya_no_rtsdtr=true, but this
seems not to have fixed my problem.

My router is now a 3/60 (soon to be a mail filter, as well, and perhaps a
few other things), and it has a terminal (an h19), but I don't want to
leave the poor old terminal burning itself in, and I don't want to run
rain all the time (it's my old screen saver), and if I turn the terminal
off, the 3/60 drops into the monitor.  :(  It's sort of a nuisance.
