I too run NetBSD/Mac68k (On a IIsi) and NetBSD/Sun3 (on a 3/110).  The 
"corrupting" Mac SCSI driver (ncr_5380 I beleive) is Mac specific, and
seems to have bitten a lot of people.  The "non-corrupting" driver (sbc)
is based on the Sparc ncr scsi code (which is based on the Sun3 code
if I remember correctly).  It does, indeed, seem to solve the disk
corruption
problem, at least for me.  My Mac system has an uptime of around 33 days
now,
and I've not found any filesystem errors (this is -current).  I don't
really know what this has to do with Sun3 though...just thought I'd share.
