Subject: Core dumps galore on 1.1 and 1.2_beta

I'm trying to set up NetBSD/sun3 on a 3/60 netbooting from a Solaris
2.5 box. With the 1.2_beta snapshot, sometimes getty starts dumping
core and looping when multi-user mode is entered, and telnetd also
cores when someone telnets to the box. If /usr/X11R6/lib is added to
ldconfig, it happens always (both 1.1 and 1.2b).

With 1.1, on most times the machine is booted, getty starts coring
upon entering multi-user mode. Things in rc don't appear to be coring
on either version.

When the machine finally gets up and far enough to start X (with
ldconfig ran manually), it will stay up for some hours before dying
with a panic: MMU fault.
