Ok I seem to have gotten some of this to work but I have run into a  
snag.

I have installed Xkernel stuff into /usr/export

I have created a directory /usr/export/root/xphile and  
/usr/export/swap/xphile and have exported the directory /usr rw for   
xphile (as I am running on only a subnetwork)  In the root/xphile  
directory I have placed netbsd-rd and in swap/xphile I have placed  
miniroot (uncompressed)

I am booting using the netboot kernel which is in /usr/export/tftboot/  
and symbolicly linked to the file 2CFAFA02 which is the hex  
representation of the machine's IP 44.250.250.2.

I get this far
> b ie() -s
Boot: ie(0,0,0) -s
Using IP Address 44.250.250.2 = 2CFAFA02
Booting from tftp server at 44.250.250.1 = 2CFAFA01
Downloaded 13312 bytes from tftp server.
>> NetBSD netboot [$Revision: 1.2 $]
Using IP Address 44.250.250.2 = 2CFAFA02
boot: client addr: 44.250.250.2
boot: client name: xphile
boot: subnet mask: 255.0.0.0

and then KAPUT! no more running...I don't have any idea what has  
happened here and could use some help.
