I had this same problem (searching for ip even though it already had it) 
on my 3/60... as i type, i'm making the miniroot, netboot, and netbsd-rd 
that worked for me available at 
ftp://ltost04.erols.com/pub/NetBSD/netboot/ ...you can get them there or 
somewhere else (keep in mind, this is a 28.8 link.. miniroot.gz is rather 
large...)
