Where did you find that tidbit? Any doc source that includes that is
probably one that would be useful to me....

Good thought, but that's not it. I've larded the thing down with
debugging code to a fare-thee-well, and among other things I'm printing
out the command bytes, and they're only six-byte commands. A typical
example is 12 00 00 00 2c 00.
